Ohlédnutí za skončenou sezónou ve Ski Classics aka 8. místo je naše!
Looking back at the at Ski Classics season aka 8th place is ours!
Tento víkend se měl běžet první ze série tří severských závodů, které by přinesly vyvrcholení letošní Ski Classics. Místo toho sedím doma a píšu tyto řádky. Závody byly zrušeny a místo původních dvanácti se jich jelo jen devět. Je to škoda, ale jsou i horší věci v životě.
S našimi výsledky ze zkrácené sezóny jsme velmi spokojeni. Byla to naše nejlepší sezóna v historii a znovu jsme posunuli náš tým o krok výše. Před prvním závodem jsme si dali cíl obsadit osmé místo v soutěži týmů. To by bylo vylepšení našeho loňského maxima o dvě příčky. Ve stále narůstající konkurenci se nám to podařilo a mezi 35 týmy jsme skončili právě na osmém místě.
V celkových výsledcích jednotlivců skončil Ari Luusua jedenáctý a Heli Heiskanen dvanáctá. V kategorii do 26 let skončila Andrea Klementová sedmá, Fabián Štoček devátý a Isac Holmström desátý.
V jednotlivých závodech jsme se dostali šestkrát do první desítky. 4x Ari a 2x Heli.

Jiří Ročárek 42. na La Venostě

Andrea Klementová 17. na Jizerské 50.
Tento souhrn jsme ještě mohli vylepšit, ale Jirku Ročárka skoro o celou sezónu připravilo zranění a Kateřina Razýmová se Sandrou Schützovou se svých startů ani nedočkaly díky zrušenému Reistadlopetu a Ylläs-Levi. Na kdyby se ale tady nehraje a když to všechno shrneme, tak to byla super sezóna!
Velký dík patří také servisnímu týmu ve složení Josef Korhoň, Jiří Ročárek st., Tomáš Ročárek, Láďa Knápek a Jiří Švec. Bez jejich dovedností a obětavosti bychom nemohli uspět! Skol. ❤️

This weekend the first of a series of three Nordic races bringing the climax of this year's Ski Classics was supposed to be held. Instead, I sit at home writing these lines. The races were canceled and instead of the original twelve there were only nine. It's a shame, but there are worse things in life.
We are very happy with our results from the shortened season. It was our best season in history and we pushed our team further up again. Before the first race we set our goal to reach eighth place in the team competition. That would be an improvement of our last year's maximum by two rungs. In the ever-increasing competition, we managed to do so and among the 35 teams we finished just in eighth place.
In the overall individual results, Ari Luusua finished 11th and Heli Heiskanen finished 12th.
In the category under 26 Andrea Klementová finished seventh, Fabián Štoček ninth and Isac Holmström tenth.
In individual races we got six times to the top ten. 4x Ari and 2x Heli.

Isac Holmström 32nd at La Venosta
Jiří Ročárek 42nd at La Venosta

We could still improve this summary, but Jirka Ročárek was injured and lost most of the season and Kateřina Razýmová and Sandra Schützová did not even get their start thanks to canceled Reistadlopet and Ylläs-Levi. But no ifs or buts, it was still a great season!
